A very sweet and tropical beverage. It hits with you with coconut and pineapple right away, with some citric acid tones in there. Unlike the Che Surprise however, the citric acid is not overpowering this time. There's a slight burn from the rum as well, although the spice and alcoholic taste of rum is masked by the sweeter ingredients. The pineapple taste sticks with you for a few moments after a sip, making this a nice poolside beverage. This is something you'd definitely garnish with an orange wheel and an umbrella. This is another recipe I made from scratch, but I tried my hardest to stick with traditionally Caribbean flavors and motifs!

Ahhh, Brazil's national drink. You know, it's hard for me to do this one justice. I've made it a couple times now, but I'm not sure if I can 100% describe how it tastes. It's pretty dang good though. It tastes a little sweet, with a large amount of lime. There's a hint of Cachaça in there as well. Either way, this is a drink I recommend you try at least once. It's not a particularly strong beverage, alcohol wise, and it's very easy to make.

The Che Surprise is a recipe made by yours truly. It's based off the Cuban Special. While not as famous as the daiquiri or mojito, Cuban Specials have a good place in my pallet as a relatively strong-tasting tropical beverage. However, I decided that I wanted to try something that might be sweeter but still feels like a Cuban Special, so I tossed in a few more ingredients and voila! This is a very sour cocktail with a hint of sweetness and rum. Keep that in mind, if sour is not your thing, then this won't be for you

This is an interesting one! The recipe is based off a drink from a video game called VA11 HALL-A, which may or may not have played a role in me becoming interested in alcohol. It's basically a blue long island, but simplified. It tastes really good though, and it's a nice bubbly drink. It's not too strong, nor is it too sweet, but it is refreshing, and it's possibly my favorite recipe!
|
|
Again, I did not make this, SoulbomB did, so all credit goes to him! I mainly wanted to share this because it's an awesome recipe and he's incredibly talented. Please, check out his youtube channel.
